4th of July on Voyager of the Seas - Do they celebrate it?

I will be on VOS for July 4th. Does the ship do anything special for the holiday? Any fireworks? We will be at their private island that day and was wondering if they did anything different for 4th of July.

We were on the Voyager a few years back over the 4th of July and they did serve something for dinner - like a barbeque type thing - and all the waiters/staff were wishing the Americans a "Happy Independence Day". As far as fireworks go, no they cannot shoot them off the ship, but they shoot them on the ship (haha - in the parade there are all kinds of sparkler type things).

We were with Cruise Director Becky Thomson last 4th of July on the Mariner (she's on the Voyager now) and they had a special Independence Day dining room menu with ribs, and instead of the Island a Go-Go Bon Voyage parade, it was 4th of July themed. There were also 4th of July banners hanging in the promenade and it was noted in the compass.
