Makeitright Posted February 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2012 The only dining room dress code I can find is for 3, 4 or 7 night cruises. What is the dress code and how strict are they for men on a formal night? Why doesn't DCL include information for 5 nt cruises? We are going in May on Disney Magic. metairiegal Posted February 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2012 I was looking at the Navigators from a 5 night Dream cruise from this past June. There were 3 cruise casual nights, 1 cruise casual/pirate night and 1 semi formal night. Hope this helps.
Makeitright Posted February 26, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Thank you. That makes sense and I'll pack according to the Navigator for your trip. I hope there is a Pirate night on our ship so we don't feel out of place :) with our getup.

metairiegal Posted February 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Yes, there will definitely be a Pirate Night on your cruise. That is one of Disney highlights. :) I just found out that if you sign-in to your reservation on-line and click on "My Cruise Activities," then click on each day, they will list when the Pirate Night is on your cruise. RainyJ Posted February 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2012 We are doing the 5 night in April, and night 3 is listed as a dress up night (that's the day at sea), and night 4 is listed as Pirate night. HTH
Pocahantas Posted February 27, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2012 There is no "formal" night on the 5 night cruises. It is semi-formal and while you may see a few people in tuxes, most are in slacks/khakis and button up shirts. A few even wear ties and a jacket. My husband really doesn't like dressing up with ties and a jacket so he just does khakis and a nice dress shirt and that has been fine.
