Scuba Diving Lessons on Explorer

Has anyone taken scuba diving lessons on the Explorer, if so, are they worth it and also the cost.

I don't know about taking scuba on a ship, but you might consider at least taking the class portion at home and then just do your dive portion while on the ship. I would not want to spend my vacation time in the class portion. We recently did both parts at home, but I know you can get a form from your home Dive Master that says you have completed the class portion and just do the dives on vacation. Just a thought.
