Summit Sky Suite 9111 ???

Recommended Posts

Anyone been on the Summit in Sky Suite 9111? Would like to get some pics of this cabin and any other info and before we hear all about the noise from above, we had a CS (9096) on the Infinity and we hardly heard anything. Maybe that's because we are up early and and stay out till everything closes down.

Thanks

Just wondering ????

Hi fellow Penn Stater!

One fellow cruiser posted they liked this suite, but cautions about noise. Of course noise is dependent on itinerary.

Here's another useful tidbit:

And of course you can always go to the main CC web page, for individual stateroom reviews. Go to the link below, then select any M-class ship, click on the Deck Plans tab, then click on Select Cabin Category, and choose S1. Also, each reviewer may have more info about the cabin, on their full review page. You can do this for all M-class ships.

We were in this SS in February. Great room! Doesn't appear that it will bother you, but there was significant noise from deck 9...so much so we decided not to book this area again. But to each his own! :)

Our only other (minor) dislike was the overhang from deck ten...we hadn't anticipated that (we should have!). The overhang is so big there is never sun on the balcony, which we typically love. But again, that is a personal preference.

I can't post pics, but if you want me to email a few to you I'd be happy to if you want to share your email address.

Just got off the Infinity and we really enjoyed 9111. Whether or not the overhang is a drawback is subjective. Our itinerary was very hot but by having the shade of the overhang we made full use of the balcony especially through the Panama Canal. With the refit, they have changed the furniture in the smoking area above to larger pieces so there is no scraping of chairs etc. (very few people there anyhow). We did notice "footsteps" on occasion during the day but it did not bother us at all.
