Laje Posted April 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2005 Hello Cruise critics! BTW...Love the boards thanks for all the great info thus far!:D My question is concerning the Carnival in general (Taking Inspiration) how they go about getting people off the boat for thier excursions? There are sooo many and looking for a way to get on a vendor boat early to Grand Cayman to go sightseeing on my own with the family. Any suggestions? Cavscout Posted April 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2005 I'll be on the Inspiration on May 3rd out of Miami, so I'll assume you're doing the same. The first thing to consider is that Cayman does not observe day lite savings so when the Inspiration says they arrive at 7:00 AM (Ship Time), your vendor will be 6:00 AM (Cayman Time). If you sign up for and 8:00 AM (CT) excursion you will have about 2 hours to get there. As this is my first cruise I'm guessing the rest of this based on what I've read here. Just go where the ship tells you to go to start getting tender numbers regardless of having a ship excursion or not. Proceed just like everyone else and you should be off the boat in the first few tenders with plenty of time. You can keep the change on that $.02 :)
