board57796 Posted March 14, 2012 Author #26 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Great comparison! Thanks for taking the time to post. I'd like to go on a Disney cruise with my family of 5, but haven't committed to spending the money yet. We like WDW and we like RCCL ships, so that's kind of where we are right now. If I find a good deal on Disney though, watch out! LOL I think you'll love the Allure, from what you've posted about Disney. The ship is beautiful. You'll find a lot of familiarity with Allure, but a lot of new too. You'll understand when you experience her. :) BTW, I didn't realize the Disney ship hulls were BLUE! THANKS for that lesson. :D Thanks again... and try reading one (or both) of my Allure reviews in my signature... they'll help pass the time. But be warned, they are LONG... you may not finish before your cruise! LOL My girlfriend and I have read those reviews many times in planning our Allure cruise :) I would love to write a review like that but I always seem to lose interest in the picture taking, unfortunately :( I even have brought my tripod with me on every cruise! QTMichele Posted March 14, 2012 #27 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Thanks! Hopefully you'll find the "courage" to take those pictures next time... If not, I hope you at least make an attempt to share your experience with us. :)
woody73 Posted March 14, 2012 #28 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Nice review. We have sailed on both Disney and Royal Caribbean, and will sail on the Liberty of the Seas later this year. There are things we especially like about each cruise line. . . . The adult area on the Dream is never really "adults" as kids constantly cross through that area. This is not one of them. McBlessings Posted September 17, 2012 #29 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Thank you for your review! I am planning to jump the carnival ship after our upcoming cruise and it's looking like Disney for us! ;)
