Weather Question

We will be in San Juan for a week this month. Looking at the extended forecast it is showing temps around 80 degrees and 40% chance of rain almost every day.

We were in San Juan last year in March and had sunny days every day. Is it an unusually wet season in PR or are these just normal morning or evening tropical showers?

This is the weathermen playing it safe and/or using statistics or whatever models they use. Less than 50% chance of rain usually means almost no chance of sustained rain in these parts. Hit and miss showers, is what they call it. It could be raining on one side of the street but not the other.

In reality, March and April are our dry season.

Thanks AoS.....our snowy months in New York are January and February and we have not seen any snow since Halloween.......not complaining!!!! Just thought I'd check with the experts in San Juan to see if you had any big changes this year.....

Well, it seems to us that it had been raining heavily here almost every day for the past two years but thankfully it stopped!
