8:45 dolphin swim

I'm on the Gem and scheduled to arrive in Nassau at 8am. The only Dolphin slot available is at 8:45. Is this WAY to early for an 8am arrival?

I do have VIP access to priorty debarcation but even if I got off as early 8:15 I think this is still very close.

On our last cruise we arrived at Port before the scheduled times. Is this an excursion with NCL? If not how far is the excursion from the port, do you know? Nassau is a port you dock at and you should be able to walk right off the boat.

No, NCL is sold out of this tour.

It is at Atlantis, from my experience its only a 10min. cab ride.

I can arrange to be one of the first ones off the ship. It will be crowded (I think 5 ships are in port that day) and seeing as its not through NCL, if there are delays I'm out $.

WHAT???? They dont have separate bathroom areas for the dolphins? That is disgusting!

You might be cutting it tight only because with that many ships in port it might be difficult finding a cab right away.

We had an early dolphin swim at Atlantis a year or so ago, maybe 9:00 or 9:15? We asked the concierge to escort us off the ship (the back way) as soon as we were cleared (which was a bit early), no problem. Caught a cab to Atlantis, and they insisted we share. The cab stopped first at the main hotel entrance for the other people, and then took us to the second area, closer to the dolphins, about 5 minutes extra drive. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from there. We still had plenty of time, though. So, don't forget to take take the extra cab stop and walk into consideration.
