Question to Alaskanguide: Talkeetna ATV Tours

Hello guide,

 

I read through the postings offering advice on Talkeetna. My wife and I are looking at some activities in addition to the summit flight I am doing (she can't go b/c she is pregnant, they told us).

 

We have enjoyed ATV tours in other areas and thought we might check them out in Talkeetna. We thought of this only b/c of your posting. When I followed the link, it seemed to be related to a Princess Lodge.

 

Are there other ATV tours or may we book them independent of Princess? Have you used the ATV companies?

 

I'm assuming my wife who will be 20 weeks pregnant at the time will be allowed on them? I'll need to check with them on that. Thanks.

There is only one ATV tour in the area and they operate both the Princess and the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge and they do book independently. And you are going to run into the same with the ATV and Argo tours as the summit flight with your wife ,They advertise not for people with bad backs or if you are pregnant, Alot has to do with the insurance...
