Unsure re weight and size,Cunard v.airlines

I have two questions.

a/ Next week fly on Delta to UK for QE2, Delta allows 2 carry ons but return

return is with BA who only allow 1 carry on. Has anyone else dealt with

this type of problem?

 

b/ I understand that airliines allow 2 checked bags EACH size being 62 inches

making 124 for the 2. Cunard in brochure for World Cruise ( I am doing

a segment) say that the 2 combined may only measure 104 inches. Use of

shipping not possible as return is from Hong Kong. Has anyone dealt with

this issue before.
