guernseyguy Posted April 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2005 For others sailing on the April 28 Trans Atlantic, do note that a 'business lunch' is taking place onboard from 09.00-14.30 so I doubt we will be permitted to board before they disembark.....just in case anyone was planning on turning up early.... See here: http://*****.com/d9h4l See you onboard (eventually!)

guernseyguy Posted April 25, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 25, 2005 There's a business lunch on every sailing. You can always board by 12-12:30. susietb, thanks - didn't know that....though one wonders why this one made it into the press with the description that it was "the hottest networking ticket in town" and "the event will be an extra special occasion" And they also say "The conference, which takes place from 9am to 2.30pm, coincides with turnaround day - 2,600 passengers will disembark, while the same number embark later" The ambiguity lies in which 'later' - later than the pax disembark, or later than the Business people disembark? I am entirely happy to believe that you are a more reliable source than the Southampton Echo...but are you talking generally & them specifically? alita Posted April 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2005 Dan Quayle??? Did I read that right? Peter... sounds to me like something far more important than just a business lunch, and I for one am glad that I won't be there waiting to board when it's over. The staff will probably be worn out.
