Anyone stay in cabin 11728 on the Oasis?

Recommended Posts

Haven't stayed in that particular cabin but have stayed in 10729 twice (once on Oasis and once on Allure)...yes, there is a public balcony at the end of the hall that looks (from the outside/Boardwalk) almost like an Aqua Suite balcony. The door is at the end of the hall and won't be a bother at all for you in your cabin and in fact it's a GREAT balcony to have quick access to!! We are booked on Allure for June 2013 in cabins 11729 and 11727 and are looking forward to having that balcony right there!! :D

BLEACHBLONDCUTIE,

Yes, we did stay in cabin 11728 on our September cruise on Oasis. The cabin was great. Far from the noise of the hallway, and very little traffic to disturbe you. Also, you will NOT be bothered by anyone on the public balcony, as very few people actually use it. We ended up using it MORE than our own balcony. Great view of the Aquatheater, the Boardwalk, and, our favorite, the ship's wake. Plenty of seating. We only encountered 3 other people out there twice, and both times was for a performance in the Aquatheater. Other than that, you will enjoy pure solitude. It is especially wonderful at night, sitting in the lounge chairs, the blue neon lighting overhead, enjoying a glass of wine, with just the soothing sound of the ocean as the ship passes through it. Very quite. But, PLEASE, keep it a secret. Not many people seem to know about it. Let's keep it that way. You will truly enjoy it. We did. We plan to book the same cabin on our next cruise on the Oasis.

That cabin you stayed in 10729 what kind of accommodations was it. Was wondering if that was the pull out sofa or just a bed? We are booked in 8715 and 8713 on the Oasis for Aug. 2012. Thinking of putting 4 in the 8713 that has a pull out sofa bed for the 3rd and 4th.

We had a pull out sofa. The sofa pulls out opposite what you think....when they pull it out, the kids sleep "parallel" to the sofa instead of "out" from it like you normally do. But there it is still a bit squishy going by it when it's pulled out. They liked having their heads right by the slider curtain and peeking out when they woke up! ;)
