Moving RCI On Board Booking to Celebrity?

We put a deposit down on an a future booking on RCI when we were on ship last April. We just got back from a Celebrity sailing and had a great time. Does anyone know if you can move your RCI open booking (we have yet to make an actual reservation) to Celebrity? We'd be okay with losing the on board credit. And even if we can't move it, we'll surely sail RCI in the future as well. It would just be nice to use it on Celebrity for next year (and you'd like that RCI as the parent would like us to book the nicer cruise as well :) )

This is one of the strange things about the future cruise booking. You must use it on the cruise line you booked it on. On one cruise, on a RCCL ship, the future cruise consultant said it was better just to book any cruise in the future. When you decide which cruise line you want to go with then you can transfer the booking to that cruise, whether RCCL or Celebrity, and keep the benefits.
