Transportation-ship to Venice Airport

We will be cruising the Med. on Mille this May and have a flight leaving for home from the Venice airport at 10:00AM our last morning. The ship doesn't supply transport for flights leaving that early. Our TA says she can get us transport leaving at 6:00AM for $54 each. Is this the best way to go? Or is this too expensive? Can we just get a land taxi on our own that early in the morning? Or do we go by water? Lots of questions and would appreciate answers from you always knowledgeable people.

My suggestion is to book a private transfer with a local company.

For 40/50 euro you'll have a limousine from the port to the airport.

Find a lot of local Companies on the web. A company that shows the fares on the web is: www.limousineandriver.com

Unfortunately most of the other Companies don't show the fares.
