Wii X box

Can anyone tell me if you can connect Wii or Xbox to the tv in cabins on the Freedom Class ships?

Probably not, as those televisions may not have the right connections. You will be too busy with other activities on board to play them anyway.

I haven't tried it, but, the word on the street is that if you bring your universal remote you can reprogram the TV's to enable the other ports. You would need to make sure you have the right cables. Depending on the room, some of the TV's seem pretty basic when it comes to connections.

When we were on Freedom a few years back they had Wii tournaments in one of the lounges. That being said, there are SO MANY activities for kids to do on those ships, video games may be the last thing on their minds. (At least until they walk through the arcade.) :)

Kinda off topic here but kinda funny story.

We were sailing Freedom two years ago May, leaving Memorial Day Sunday. We went to the lounge just in front of the ice rink to watch some of the Indy 500. Upon arrival at the bar, there was Wii family bowling going on. Hearing the sound of pins crashing in the background (surrround sound) was kind of funny and kind of disgusting at the same time, WE OWN A BOWLING CENTER, WE ARE ON VACATION, WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH BOWLING WHILE ON VACATION. :)

As long as you didn't make anyone put on clown-looking shoes, it's all good :)

Ok Thank you all, its not actually for myself , we are taking our 3 grandsons on a cruise and just thought it might a good idea if it worked.

You will not need at all... Adventure Ocean has sooo much going on plus there is a huge arcade on the ships that is pretty affordable and if the kids are in some of the older groups like 9-12, there are video consoles like Wii and PS2 to play with in Adventure Ocean... don't bring!! you don't need!! :)
