Hotel Max in Seattle?

We are looking at Hotel Max, we have found a price of $159. It is within walking distance of the Light Rail and Pike Place. It has mixed reviews, but looks nice. I am guessing it would be a $20 taxi ride to Pier 91. Anyone stay here?

 

We are also thinking about Hotel Maxwell, they have a nice deal for $200, but we could not walk from the Light Rail, unless we take the Monorail too.

 

I'm nervous to bid on priceline. We usually do, but the boundary area of downtown, I think we could get places that would not be within walking distance of the rail and Pike Place. I like the money we can save that way! Such a dilemma!
