NCL Credit Card ?

Are points only accrued based on retail purchases or can you accure points by charging doctor visits, mortgage payments, home equity payments, etc?

Anything you can use your card for will earn you points - except cash advances

I even now use MBNA's bill payment service and get points for my car payment, electric and gas, and my Continental Credit Card. Air miles and cruise dollars!

I have not tried to pay my mortgage this way but I will still max out on the 1000 points/ year.

Make sure you read MBNA's website carefully. Most of those utilities and others do not get you points. For example, since you live in NJ too, NJNG and JCP&L can be paid with the card, so you get an extra month to pay the bill. However, you do not get points from those charges.

That aside, I got my 1,000 points for my year just ended and I am now working on another 1,000 for this year. I love getting stuff for free!!
