rydan Posted April 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2012 If a tour is showing up as sold out on line. Would it be a waste of time to go right up to the tour desk unpon boarding and inquire about space on a particular trip. Or do they have a wait list? Has anyone every been succesful with this. golfadj Posted April 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Or consider doing a private tour. Go to ports of call for more info. Most experienced cruisers will do this. We find private tours to be cheaper, less crowded and better. Just make sure tour is scheduled to get back to the ship well before sailing time. That came out of right field. Especially coming from that screen name (female) I assume. Anyway, you can try the desk or as suggested as well, explore your own reservation options. You can use this site to do just that. Go to your port of interest and read what others have offered. We will be doing all our own excursions on our own this go-round. Not only do we find that they may be cheaper, but we then take responsibility for how they turn out. Good luck to you and hope you have a great cruise! w4kry Posted April 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2012 keep checking back. We were so disappointed that the dune buggies were sold in Grand Turk but when I checked today they had added more spaces. So we were able to book the excursion!!!! YAY!

maldenmusic Posted April 4, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Consider seeing if a tour is available by a local company in case you can't get in the one you want.
