Zeebrugge - Tobbaconist??

Recommended Posts

Is there a tobbaconist open on a sunday which is located near or on the port of Zeebrugge or Blakenburg or will I have to travel to Brugge ?

I do not want to do the ships tour into Brugge but dont mind getting there under my own steam via shuttle bus/train.

Thank you for any help ......

You don't have to look for a tobacconist, in Zeebrugge town center or Zeebrugge beach every newspapers shop or supermarket will have tobacco; if you need special cigars then you better go to Brugge- look for other threads in this forum "how to get to Brugge"

Years back there used to be a little group of them in the town centre, but I think they've all gone now.

There's one just out of town, about a mile from the port gate on the N31 main road to Bruges, it carries reasonable stocks of UK brands.

I don't know if its open on sundays, but those in Ostend, Bruges & Adinkerke certainly are.

There's at least one in Ostend

There's also at least a couple in the centre of Bruges - just ask when you're there.

Although Blankenberge is quite big, I have my doubts you'll find one there.

I bought cigars for my son-in-law in Brugge in 2006 when I was there before a river cruise.

I can't remember where I bought them so would be interested if anyone knows the shops location.

I will be there in March 2013 and my son-in-law has already asked me to get him some more, he said they were the best cigars he has ever had.
