mski Posted April 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Hi everyone. I've being reading the boards here on cruise critic for a couple of months now, but this is actually my first post! I'll be cruising out of Fort Lauderdale in August on Carnival Freedom, and, like an idiot, didn't book my airfare as soon as I booked my cruise. Now the airfare prices out of Fort Lauderdale have gone up significantly! I looked around to see what I could possibly do to save some money, and found airfare that is almost $100 cheaper if I fly back from West Palm Beach instead of Fort Lauderdale. However, I would need to catch the the Tri-Rail from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach by 10:32 am in order to get to the airport in time. If the ship arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 8am, do you think I'll have enough time to catch a 10:32 train? It would only be about a 10-minute cab ride to the train station... Thanks! gail811 Posted April 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2012 As long as there are no issues when you reach Ft. Lauderdale that will allow you plenty of time. Always have a Plan B ready just in case though!
