RYPERO Posted April 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2012 We went to Junkaroo beach and had a great time. We took a cab from the port and paid $7 per person round trip. The cab came back at an agreed time to take us back to the ship and for an extra dollar my in laws got dropped off at Port Lucaya and then returned to the ship later. Junkaroo is a very nice beach and for $5 you get a chair and use of the restrooms and changing rooms as well as use of the paddle boats and kayaks. This is not a five star resort but a nice beach bar with a mini straw market. We went to Port Lucaya last year but we enjoyed Junkaroo much more with our kids. katti michele Posted May 14, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2012 Does anyone have anymore information on the Radisson day passes? I am just starting my research for my Bahamas cruise in September and am really interested in having a nice, relaxing beach/pool day in Freeport. Thanks! nfd13* Posted May 15, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2012 I am also in need of some Freeport help. We will be there in two weeks. My intial plan was to go to the beach in Nassau but now we are looking into going while in Freeport. I am leaning towards the Radisson and any info would be helpful.:):)
cruiseapril Posted May 15, 2012 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2012 For Freeport google the Grand Lucayan Radisson Resort. Send an e-mail to get an update on day passes. For Nassau- the Sheraton Cable Beach is a good beach resort.
