tankerman Posted April 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2012 Hello all! Short notice, going on Monarch in 5 days with a stop in Nassau! I live in Florida and can see the beach anytime! I need help on with an excursion/tour where I can see stuff and learn about the local culture and history! The wife and I are in our early 40's and are more interested in interaction than relaxing! Any ideas, hints, etc will be very much appreciated!!!!!!!!
GloriaF Posted April 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Tankerman, we are from NE FL and feel the same about the beach unless there is good snorkeling. We've done walking tours of our own twice, and plan on using this guide the next time we are there. The board censors sites, so delete spaces. www. b r e n t j e s . c o m / n a s s a u Also visited the National Art Museum and it was worth a visit. In late Nov 2011 the displays were dedicated to a local artist and the building is interesting, too. We were wandering around after climbing the hill to the Gov House, so can't give specifics on how to get there or if there was a cost. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful cruise
