Cannes port to Nice - most economical way?

we'll soon be on a cruise with a day in cannes. we would like to know the most economical way to get to nice.

 

questions are if there is a train or bus? - and where to go first when getting off the ship?

 

once in nice, where will it drop us off? the most important places we would like to hit are the flower market, the promenade anglais, the negresco hotel and the carousel at l'esplanada du paillon ou espace messena...

very easy :when you get out of the port go to the Palais of festival theres a little square here and you will have the 200 bus which go to Nice

it will let you on Place Massena ( downtown area) you will have the old town the Castle the Promenade des anglais ( Negresco not very far away), the market and place Garibaldi Alll those place are around

 

same thing for the train : when you get of the port go to the train station ( not very far only 3 roads up behind or the Palais of festival or i think it's better you walk until the Majestic and go up you will be directly on the train station

 

the bus cost 1 euros by way it's longuer but the road is really nice ( about 1h 30 minutes)

the train is shorter (35mn) it will let you on north downtown area you can take the tram or walk to get on Place Massena after, i don't know the price :)
