Juneau on July 4, 2012

We will be in Juneau on July 4. Will that limit us in any way? I understand the public buses will not be operating. Anything else?

We were in Juneau on July 4th one year and most of the shops were still open and tours were operating. They had a parade in town which was fun!

There will be NO buses.... cab's are hard to come by but tours will operate they are at the mercy of the celebration.... there is a Huge parade in Juneau and then it crosses the bridge to Douglas.. with hometown 4th of July activities going on all day.... Fireworks are at Midnight the 3rd over the Channel....weather permitting.....you will find many businesses closed for the day...
