Gem Dinning Reservations Online: DO You count the kids?

If I select the total number in our party, including the kids they charge me the full price. However, there is a note on the website that says "Per Child Pricing Done On Ship". But If I dont put the correct amount of our party online, how will they know to hold 6 seats. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old.

 

What am I supposed to do?

I remember seeing on another thread that you put the children in the reservation and they will adjust the cost when you go.

thank you. thats annoying that you have to pay in advance and hold up your $ like that. Seems to me that they can figure out a better way to do this. after all, computers can do anything. : )

Alternative -- wait until you get to the ship to make the reservation.

They do adjust it on the ship. But book the correct number especially for Teppenyaki or the kids won't have a seat.

Yes, you do have to book and pay for the total party as if everyone was an adult. They make the adjustment once on board at the restaurants.
