Port Jacksonville Hotel advice - what is good?

HI!! We leave May 17th from Jacksonville but need to book a cheap but clean hotel for the night before. Would love some advice! :D

Holiday Inn Blount Island. With free shuttle to port if you have park and cruise package. They also have rooms that sleep 6.

Careful with Holiday Inn. One of the people on our cruise had her car broken into at this hotel when she returned to her car after the cruise.

we stayed at jacksonville plaza & suites......the rooms are clean,good cont. breakfast, they have good prices on cruise pkgs.....we are staying again in dec. :)

When we were there in September, we stayed at Red Roof Inn-Airport (Duval Road). It was cheap ($35) and clean. We parked at the VIP Park & Ride while we were on the cruise ($5/day).

 

Have fun on your cruise! We loved Fascination - going again in June.

Just checked out the site and did you book the stay and park package - it just shows airport shuttle - it is 77 per night is that the package you booked?

We just booked a regular room. I had a coupon if I used a visa, so we got it for $40. They offer a free shuttle, and then $5 a day parking. I think the rate you're looking at is for the airport, not the cruise port.

I will call them in the morning and see what rate I can get :) regular rate is 52.00 and park and stay is 77.00
