swamom Posted May 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2005 I have another question. If we decide to take a private tour in St. Pete. arranged by RSSC, do we need a Russian Visa, or do the companies they use include the visa-as Red October? If so, I need to get busy securing one. Any suggestions for which web service to use? Our trip begins June 10. :)
aaannnthony Posted May 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2005 You do not need visas for ship arranged tours or tours through recognized tour companies such as Red October and others.
curiouscruiser Posted May 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2005 You don't have to have one but I'd recommend getting one if you are on the Navigator. It goes up-river and docks in town, we since we had visas were were able to wander on our own if and when we wanted to. Not as big a deal on the Voyager, since they dock further out. swamom Posted May 2, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted May 2, 2005 We will be on Voyager, so I guess we won't get one. Thank you.
