Days Inn Miami Civic Centre

We are crusing next weekend and have booked this hotel. Any input?

I don't want to be a downer, but get there in the daylight and stay in your room. We booked the Ramada next door (which also owns the Days Inn), but they gave away our reservation - but they gladly put us up in the days inn. After a short security escort across the parking lot we got to go up to our room. Check the sheets - as we had cigarette burns in ours. The bathtub was horrible, wear sandals for sure. I'd book somewhere else if you can.

know the area. The last two times we stayed in Fort Lauderdale and South

Beach. South Beach was okay but the cab to the airport was $40

Hotwire has the Holiday Inn Miami International Airport for $37-40 a night. This is a pretty good rate, and the hotel is quite nice (although in need of a little updating). Hotel does have a pool, restaurant, fitness center, coin laundry, and airport shuttle, and a shuttle to the port. For this price, I highly recommend it. Hotwire lists it as 2.5 stars.
