FOS Best Cruise Ever!

Recommended Posts

My review of the FOS April 8, 2012 to April 15, 2012

Suite Balconies on the 9th Floor

Booked through Vacation Outlet - highly recommend Mike

Well, It's my

DH, Me, DS and DD. We left out of NYC on April 7 to Orlando - picked up at airport by Mike (another Mike) at VIP Limo (recommend) and stayed at the Hampton Inn (okay) Ate at Brantano's across the street (very good). Took Travelynx bus from the Hamptons Inn to the port.

Boarding was very quick - on the ship by about noon - cabins were ready by 1:00. Spectacular cabins - junior suites - Shout out to our cabin attendant, Gregory and his staff - job well done!

We loved the Windjammer, which we ate in for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Promenade was great for pizza and sandwhiches. We did late seating in MDR, table for four - service was excellent for food and bar - wonderful experience.

Also, ate at Johnny Rockets - well, of course, you know that's good!

Coco Cay, nice island, weather was great - lot to do or nothing to do - I prefer nothing - have a beer and the rest will follow - Didn't rush off the ship - hey, I'm on vacation, I don't rush!

Ah, first sea day, never disappoints - Well, what can I say - again you can do everything or nothing - whatever your heart desires - eat, drink, lounge in the sun (no chair hogs don't bother me because I simply can't be bothered on such a wonderful cruise!)

Love, love, love Graham Seymor - funny, funny, funny!

80s party good then Quest (always funny)

St. Thomas - always love that island - and that's good since it always seems to be on my cruise itinerary - great shopping and beaches both of which I love. That night I believe was the deck party at night - love the night air and gazing at the stars above.

St. Martin - DS and I took ship tour to Marigot and Orient Beach - would recommend - loved Orient Beach! DH and DD took the Rhino Rider tour - they had a blast!

Well next two days were sea days - sheer bliss!

Some stuff I may have left out - Really enjoyed the production shows - don't miss Graham Seymor Adult Comedy Show - very funny! Ice Show was entertaining and Oh yes, watch the excitement at the Flow Rider - No, I didn't flow but it was sure exciting to watch my fellow passengers flow and on the last sea day the instuctors put on show - what fun - don't miss!

Loved the promenade! Nice stores - good selection - great place to go to people watch, parades, parties, shows, eat, drink and be merry!

DH liked the casino won and lost.

Didn't do the spa this go round but I'm sure it would have been nice.

Gym - sadly, only once - but it was when we were entering St. Thomas harbor - great view as the gym is in the front, top of the ship.

Again, loved the food and entertainment - bar service excellent and good selection. Beautiful suites, nice art photography on walls. The cruise staff does an excellent job, everyone of them - hard working very friendly - wonderful!

In conclusion, nothing, and I do mean nothing, beats out being on a floating paradise for seven days with the people you love the most (your family) enjoying the beautiful endless sea and sky and the laughter and the joy and everything the truly amazing experience that cruising has to offer - I say this because it's true and I'm preaching to the choir - Thank you to my wonderful companions on this cruise - my beloved family - here's to my cherised memories of a truly amazing cruise on the FOS!
