Cruise out of St. Pete not Tampa?

Kind of new here and don't want to upset anybody but I am curious about what you cruise veterans think of this idea

There's been a squabble going on between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties for some years about the Tampa Bay Rays. Hillsborough wants them, Pinellas doesn't want to give them up. Now, a Hillsborough county politician wants to swap..cruises for Rays (since the new megaships are too tall to fit under the 182.5 foot Sunshine Skyway).

 

What do you experienced cruisers think? Disclaimer..I live in Hillsborough county.
