Snorkeling in Cozumel

If you are snorkeling from shore, Dzul Ha is probably the best.

Snorkeling from a boat can be better, but that isn't guaranteed, and it cost a more for a boat snorkel trip.

Dzul-Ha is great but some currents to deal with. Also Playa Corona just south of Dzul-Ha. Advantage to a boat is to see the reef further from shore and pick you up after forty minutes on the currents you can drift quite a distance. The boat and guide are always right with you. Playa Corona is the head of the Chankanaab Reef and it beautiful at about 20 and 30 feet deep.

Advantage of shore snorkeling is the reefs are at a shallower depth and you can see everything closer. I just snorkel against the current and then drift back to start spot. Very easy.
