Port royal golf

Does anyone know if there is a beach to walk to from Port Royal? DH will be golfing there and I will ride along but didn't know if there was a beach to walk to from the course. Thanks in advance for any info!

According to my map, there are 2 small cove beaches within walking distance (Whitney Bay and West Whaler Bay). However, Horseshoe Bay Beach (the most famous in Bermuda) is just a 10 min. taxi ride down the road from the course. It is absolutely beautiful, and there are other cove beaches which you can get to from there along the beach path. We made it as far as Warwick Long Bay, although the path does lead all the way to Elbow Beach and maybe even further. We found it a bit tricky to navigate at times.

 

If you do decide to ride along with your husband while he plays golf, you will see great scenery. It is a beautiful course with many holes along the ocean. Tell him to aim left toward the ocean on No. 16 and to bring his camera to the tee box.
