rge Posted June 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2004 I'm looking at booking the SEA in cabin 3000 cat II. Does anyone know if it has 3 lowers? Buy Cruises shows it as 4 lowers, but I can't tell from the NCL site. ilinda Posted June 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2004 try going to bestpricecruises.com and they will tell you how big the cabin is and how many it will fit if the cabin is available. you do realize the cabins are about 115s/f. very small for 3 people. jlines Posted June 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2004 I just got off the ship yesterday and while waiting to debark I nosed around a little. We were in cabin 2161 which had 2 lowers and a berth - cramped like our camper but plenty of storage for the 3 of us. While walking around on deck 2, I looked in the vacated and cleaned (so the doors were open waiting for the next set of cruisers) I saw in cabin 2000 which I assume is the same as 3000. There were 4 lower beds in a very roomy cabin so if paying extra for the II to get a bigger cabin is worth it to you I think you would be pleased with this cabin. Just remember it is at the very front of the ship so you will notice more movement, but our cruise was very placid so chances are this would be OK also. Chuck & Phyllis Posted June 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Which is the same cabin on the starboard side. The room is very large. Each wall has a lower along side it separated by closets. In the middle of the room is a fairly large table with chairs. Sort of like a dinnette set. I can't remember for sure, but I don't believe it had a vanity. I think the bathroom was a little larger than others on the ship. You can't have the beds together BTW. This cabin looked to be twice the size of the outside cabins we passed by. Didn't really have any problems with motion. Overall, it's very comfortable for four people so if you only have 3, it'll seem like a suite. ArkansasFish Posted June 25, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2004 For those of you that seen inside these inside-larger cabins, other than the number of beds, now did the decor look? I am booked for room 2200 and some friends are booked for room 2000. These cabins are not square but are unusual shaped. Does anyone happen to have a picture?
