Okay to Bring on Board

Is it okay to bring a small nail scissors on board and also a razor for shaving? Are spray cans allowed (hair spray and Lysol)? I haven't had a problem on a plane and was just wondering. :confused:

I would imagine those are perfectly ok to bring onboard.

Yes, those items are fine. Aerosols can be an issue on a plane because of the cabin pressure, or lack of...and you aren't going to hijack a cruise ship with a pair of nail scissors or razor so you should be fine. I do pack those things in my checked luggage just in case, but never had a problem getting them on...

Don't try to bring an iron or a candle because they are both potentially dangerous, but otherwise almost anything you would bring to a normal hotel should be fine.

They are fine. There are no restrictions on liquids in carry-ons like there are for air travel. I keep things like nail clippers and razors in checked luggage, just to be safe. No problems so far.

I doubt it would be an easy task to hijack anything with a nail scissors or a razor. But try to tell that to the TSA. Oh, wait a minute. Better not try to tell ANYTHING to the TSA -- you'd probably get kicked off your flight and possibly arrested.

Small nail scissors are find, we bring one with us on all the cruises.

I would imagine those items would be fine to take with you. Our last cruise we ziptied our luggage closed and I had put an old pair of nail clippers in a front pocket to cut the tie when we got on the ship to unpack. Well I dug the clippers out and cut our first tie and my wife asked me what I was doing. I told her and she said why don't you just use these and she hands me a large pair of scissors that she had packed to cut the ties.:eek: I told her it was a wonder we didn't have to go to the "naughty room" and explain that.:)

Just don't put your small scissors in your underclothing and you'll be fine! :)

Like mentioned, pack you scissors, multi-tools, and hedge trimmers (kidding!)in your luggage to retrieve later in your cabin. ;)
