new cruiser, was about to book my flight from philly into Orlando, is it really necessary arrive a day earlier? I already need to stay a day later because its the thanksgiving cruise and the cost for coming home on the Sunday after thanksgiving is ridiculous, now I am concerned about flying in the day of departure> do people have alot of problems with flights arriving? thanks for any help about this. That time of year I would just because the Philly weather is going to be so unpredictable. You could get delayed 1 hour, or 1 day. I know we have been delayed by a day flying back to Florida from Buffalo because of the weather.

I would certainly plan on arriving a day earlier, but you might want to check out flying into Melbourne instead of Orlando. It's only 25 miles to the pier. :)

I would arrive a day earlier as well. You really dont want to rush off the plane to catch the cruise. Go a day early and give yourself some relaxing time and in case of bad weather, travel time.
