Rainbowfalls Posted May 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2012 I am doing my typical searching for a cheaper rate routine and came across a 3rd party websites, one of the major 3rd party sites, and found a discount for union members. It doesn't say what a union member is and it groups it along with police and firefighters. Is a union like a work union such as kroger for example? or is it another form of union that is being refered to? Thanks ahead of time:)
BeccaBecca1713 Posted May 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2012 I don't think Carnival offers those types of discounts. I know Royal does though. I'm curious myself. I work in a Fed Prison as a Nurse, but I get Law Enforcement retirement and we are all told, regardless of our discipline, we are "correctional officers" first. If/when I book another Royal cruise I hope I can qualify for the police/law enforcement discount.
golfadj Posted May 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2012 I dont believe Carnival offers this and glad as other than armed forces not sure that any group should come before the general public.
Rainbowfalls Posted May 20, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted May 20, 2012 :( darn! lol. it would be nice to have another discount to watch for. Though with the 3rd party I wonder if they did have it as a discount and the price did lower because of it I could claim it?
