JAX parking just outside the entrance of the port

Anyone with recent info on parking here?

Seems I remember someone posting about difficulty getting in due to the previous sailing leaving the lot at the same time.

 

I know the price is now $8.00 per day. But how is their shuttle service? (fast/slow/limited)

 

I want to be parked and over to the port building by 10 A.M. if possible.

I know a bunch of people use: http://vipparknride.com They have great prices and everyone I have read had very good reviews on them. They are located near the airport though I believe the earliest you can catch the shuttle is 11:00am to the port.
