Holiday Inn -Port of Miami...Shuttle???

Hmmm, apparently now it's called "Marriott senior discount"... I plugged some dates in just for the heck of it though and the AAA rate is much cheaper, but it may vary for your dates. I would try them both, and probably also call the hotel directly.

That JW Marriott is a GREAT hotel and with some of the dates I plugged in for this summer it gave me a $125/night AAA rate. If you're a AAA member and can get it for that price it's an incredible bargain!!!... http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/miajw

LOL, yeah... Taxis are quite plentiful, and they also have van taxis if you have THAT much luggage :)

Yeah, that's a great price for the JW Marriott. It's a beautiful place!

There are a lot of great clubs in South Beach, but I haven't been to any of them in so long and what's hot comes and goes so frequently I don't know what the best place is right now. Here's a website that may help you... http://www.southbeach-usa.com/nightclubs.htm

Fabulous website! Much thanks! Ooooh, I am ready to hit BED and MYNT!! :D

Happy sailing,

T.

I have booked the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for my pre and post cruise stay for next march,, just curious if I want to get a room looking at the bay I am assuming that I request a bayside room??? When I booked the other nite they were unable to assign rooms at that time.. I will have to call back later...

I called the Holiday Inn Port of Miami and asked about reserving a bay view room. They said if I had booked a suite, then they could guarantee a bay view room, but since I booked a normal room, they would put in the request, but did not guarantee me one.

We'll just have to wait and see I guess.
