Celebrity Xpedition - Galapagos, All inclusive?

I have tried researching on cc but the info seems limited. On the Celebrity Xpedition to the Galapagos, is it all inclusive? Meaning including alcohol? Are the shore excursions included as well?

 

Any info you can share with a newbie would be much appreciated :D

Hi NovCruising, Have you looked at the Xpedition roll call board? This is a bit different from the usual roll call - especially the first sticky "Is anyone back Part 2?". This is a general information and questions thread and I think you will find lots of information. To answer your questions (and we are not going until October), alcohol and gratuities are included as are the excursions which operate differently from the usual.

We just got back from this amazing trip. Yes, the shore excursions, gratuities, and alcohol are included. In addition to wine at dinner, there are plenty of fou-fou drinks to choose from, including chocolate martinis and a specialty they call the "blue-footed boobie." Enjoy.

EVERYTHING is included. And if you take their 10- or 11-day package, everything in Quito is also included. There is a small departure tax you are responsible for, but that is all.

We have done the Xpedition twice - loved it so much in 2006 that we did it again last year and it was even more amazing the second time! Yes, everything is included, even all meals, tours, lodging at JW Marriott in Quito and even transfers whether you book the air yourself or through the cruise line. Check the other thread under Celebrity Xpedition for a lot more information. Also, walking sticks, binoculars and "shortie" wet suits are provided for snorkeling....Did the 10-day package both times. Enjoy....it will truly be a trip of a lifetime and will probably exceed your expectations! :):):)
