MSC Lirica departing Rome June 12, 2005 - transportation question

Hi,

 

Does anyone know the best way to get to the Civitavecchia port from Rome? Is there transportation available from Termini Station? Or from Airport? Anyone interested in sharing? This is first time on a European cruise for me.

We got to Rome three days before the cruise.

 

We took the train from Termini to the port - then a short taxi ride to the ship-

 

You get to see views of Rome and the countryside that you probably wouldn't otherwise see from a bus-
