Key West- Electric Cars

I will be in Key West the 1st week of July. We are considering renting one of the electric cars. How hard is it to find parking if we want to stop for lunch, take pics etc? Also can you rent for just a few hours if you get tired of it?

We have rented them in the past. We rented the gloried golf cart ones though. Parking wasnt too bad, but you have to remember to buy a parking ticket so you dont get fined. They are scattered around and you put money in and get a piece of paper showing your times. keep half with you since some people take them and use them, so if you have your half you can show your legal. One piece of advise... Try to book on line. We did once before and got a great deal. We went during spring break and they wouldnt barter at all. We had fun using them as we can see all the sights pretty quickly. We booked fo 4 hours and then walked around Mallory Square and went to Irish Kevins.

Have fun !!
