electra2008 Posted June 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2012 We will be arriving Sat 29th Sept by ship and wish to stay 4 or 5 nights to "see" Montreal. Would appreciate any suggestions on what to do, mature active couple. Into walking around, eating in reasonable priced good places, not a lot of time in churches but will go to see what should not be missed! Which area is best for central hotels. Prefer self catering style hotels, small kitchenette comfy seating for evenings as we will be ready for a rest by then. We prefer to eat main meal out at lunch time. If you have a chance go take a walk on St-Denis street there are very nice place to eat and nice pub. If you want to see a church go to the Basilic of Notre-Dame.
