seaturtle5 Posted June 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2012 We are looking at doing the Legend in October. Will be our second time on her, but first with DS who will 2 at the time. Looking for ideas of what we can do in this port. The Carnival excursions available for his age don't look great to me and seem overpriced. DH and DD's would like to snorkel - so something where we can enjoy beach and snorkeling would be great. Any suggestions?
cruisergrandma Posted June 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2012 I highly recommend the zoo. We took our 4-year-old granddaughters and they loved it.

cruisergrandma Posted June 8, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2012 There is only one zoo. It is not like a zoo you would find in the US. It is much more primitive and all the animals are native to Belize. We loved it and we had a group from age 4 to age 62. Be prepared - it is VERY hot there so, we always take water with us. And be sure you have a camera. The spider monkeys really put on a show for you. When they see people they start swinging from the trees then one of them sat down, looked staright at us, and stuck out his tongue. It was so funny.
