Parasailing Question

We are doing the Western Caribbean in October and wondered whre is the best place to do some parasailing? I am also curious how long the ride lasts.

I seem to recall that the excursion at Labadee was around $80 and less than 5 minutes. Can that be right?

You're actually up in the air for about 5 minutes. You do it in pairs. However, you are out on the boat for about an hour. It was very beautiful. I don't remember the cost.

My sister did it, however it was in Aruba. She was up for close to 10 minutes, and loved every minute of it except.........she wears glasses and they made her take them off because she did not have a strong strap to hold them on. Keep that in mind for anyone who wears glasses. She did go up by herself. There were three people on the boat who went up, but each at their own time. Go for it.

My husband did it in Labadee last year. The excursion was one hour, cost $85.00, and he was in the air for about 10 minutes. He loved it! He says that he may do it again this year.

Does anyone know where you can do this in Cozumel?

I parasailed at the beach right next to Paradise Beach in Cozumel (we were all sitting at Paradise Beach and I just walked over, just a few steps). It was $55 pp, and I believe we were up for at least 10 minutes, seemed more like 15. You could either go alone or with someone, price was per person.

My DH parasailed at GT at Grand Caymon. If 2 went up it was $60 a person, if you went alone it was $80. They were up for about 15 minutes.
