pampaul Posted June 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2012 I'm talking about the photo that they take of you right as soon as you get off the ship. Sometimes it's next to a sign of the island, I've had a Space Mickey at Port Canaveral and a pirate at Nassau. We'll be giong to Bermuda, docking in Hamilton for 3 days, this August. Do you know what kind of photo opportunity they have there?
innlady1 Posted June 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2012 When you walk up the ramp to the Port Building, there will be photographers there. I didn't see any immediately when one exits the ship.

Section9 Posted June 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2012 When we went on the April 22nd cruise, it was a white life preserver with a rope fringed around it. Can't remember what it said, but the lettering was in black. I don't believe it was a REAL life preserver though, it might have said ms Veendam, but I can't honestly remember. Obviously we didn't buy it.
innlady1 Posted June 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2012 I can't remember either...and that was the one photo we bought! But, I left it behind in Hingham so can't check. Don't recall if it said "Veendam" or "Bermuda".
LreedCA Posted June 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Hi-We just returned from Bermuda in May and bought the photo that they took as we got off the ship. We are standing with a pirate. The "matting" or border around the picture says Hamilton, Bermuda with the name of the ship and the date. It also shows a bit of the ship in the background and the border has an old world style map of Bermuda. Enjoy your trip!
