So you won't lose anything, then. Your next cruise will automatically move you "back" to Gold status. And the FAQ is now working on the VIFP page, and confirms that guests "graduating" to a new status during their cruise get the benefits for the ENTIRE cruise.

 

So you'll never even see a red card. :)

Sounds like you are booked on a 6 day cruise? If so, you will get a gold card upon check in.

 

If you were booked on a 3 day cruise, you would remain red until the following cruise.
