Hello!

Could somebody tell me more about cabin 3131 on Celebrity Solstice, please?

- is the bed near the bathroom or near the window?

- as this cabin connects to 3129, will it disturb us in any way?

- is the window large enough or just a porthole?

- any noise or smell or other disturbance?

The Celebrity website is not of much help in this matter.

Appreciate your kind help. Thank you.

You are on the 3rd deck, port side, forward, in an ocean view room, half way between the midship and forward elevators/stairwells. Never been in that particular room so don't know if beds are nearer the window or entry. X cannot possibly have a photo of every room, but the picture on their web site is a very good representation. You will have a large window, NOT a porthole. Your only concern will be its close proximity to the Quasar night club overhead and just a little forward of you. Music is pretty loud with heavy bass thumping till midnight or 1am sometimes. (depends on the crowd on a particular cruise) A starboard side room would be better, OR stay portside but a little further aft, even 3-5 cabins back would help.

On the plus side, you will be in a perfect spot for easy access to the main lobby aft, or the theater fwd and up. :)You can be anywhere on the ship in 3 minutes, easy access for embark/debark and you have two separate routes for emergency evacuation.

The connecting stateroom feature on S class ships is great in that there is an "outer door" to the passageway that is only in place if you want it there, and provides a small entry way that the regular cabin doors open to. If the outer door is not in place, then your cabin door open directly to the open alcove area that is normally part of the passageway. (very cool)

Check out the "Solstice cabin info" thread on this sight. Have fun on your cruise!!
