Yes we are coming Oct 27 from Rome to Florida. We will be in Rome early (Oct28) looking for bestd als. We have never to Rome before. Firsst transatlantic on Prisendam but have taken other trips with Holland. Next week July 15 going on a river cruise Normandy to Paris

We did Rome three years ago before a trans atlantic on the Solstice. This will be our third cruise on HAL. We have been doing Celebrity the most.

 

We got a great fare from HAL to fly from Fort Lauderdale. We usually book our own but we could only find flights for $600 they got us a fare for $325.

 

Lots to see and do in Rome. The metro works well. But walking around is the best way to see most of it. Friends were there last summer and found a great hotel to stay in. He is involved in hotels in Montreal. I'll see if I can find out what it was.

Check out The River Palace Hotel. Our friends found it on trip advisor but booked directly thru the Hotel. They got three nights for the price of two with a woderful breakfast. Cost $400 canadian. Our friend is a former hotel manager and now the manager for the hotel association of Montreal so I know he finds great hotels at great prices.
