Iluvcruising2 Posted July 15, 2012 Author #179 Share Posted July 15, 2012 Thank you for the review and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the ports. None of the things that I've read so far on the Dubai itineraries has been very positive (I checked the reviews in the review section) so it's nice to see another perspective. I think you referred to it as "unique"? So maybe it's worth giving it a try! To us, it was an eye-opener, even though we live in a country where we have many Malay fellow citizens who are adherents of Islam. The mosques were truly awe-inspiring. I truly believe that Islam preaches peace. Unfortunately, there may be some who have twisted its teachings to achieve other objectives. I have yet to put up the pictures of the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Linda & John Posted July 25, 2012 #180 Share Posted July 25, 2012 The dessert menu for that evening. Thanks for your review. Just wondering if there's a free place for snacks on Brilliance, other than the Windjammer...

Just wondering if there's a free place for snacks on Brilliance, other than the Windjammer... Brilliance has the Sea View cafe, but you have to check the opening hours. The pastas are really good, definitely worth a try. Radiance class ships (i.e. Brilliance etc) do not have a Royal Promenade, which means no Promenade cafe, unlike the Voyager and bigger class ship
r6girl Posted September 22, 2012 #182 Share Posted September 22, 2012 This review is wonderful, and I'm glad I have the opportunity to read it. I'm an American expat living in Abu Dhabi, and I've wondered about taking a cruise from here since I wouldn't have to pay for airfare... but, we decided to go with a Caribbean cruise since my in-laws have generously volunteered to watch the kids while we cruise! Free childcare - couldn't pass up that deal! :D
