Alaska Connisseur Tour Tipping

We are leaving for an Alasken Cruisetour in August which includes the Connoisseur Escorted Tour for the land portion of the trip. My question is, how much is the customary tip for your tour guide for the 5 day land portion. If you have done this trip before your experience would be helpful.

Have you looked at the Alaska cruise/tour FAQ booklet? It recommends a tip of $5-7 per day per person.

We did a escorted Alsaska tour in 2008. We had a excellant guide, Liz Bell?, she was very knowledgeable and friendly and absoutly maade a difference in the trip. If i remember correctley we tipped her around $80-$100.
